Hannah’s prayer
February 26, 2010
I
Samuel 1:10 – 17
Reading these verses in I
Samuel, I reflect and compare parts of my life with Hannah. I remember as a new wife
praying that I too would have a child.
During those times I would sometimes have trouble
understanding why my prayer requests weren’t answered immediately, forgetting
that His prayers are always answered!
Ken and I were blessed three times with God’s
“miracles”.
Yes, they are miracles, and were more greatly thought of as
miracle , because my prayers weren’t answered instantly.
God’s plan revealed in the "Power of Prayer" are
what sustain me and my faith.
Now one of my prayer requests
reflects a different earthly need.
Having gone through several surgeries to fix chronic
pain, my prayers are that I can find a doctor that can fix the problems.
I believe that God answers my prayers with help in
finding doctors that can ease or take the pain away.
In the meantime, I keep the faith and continue to
praise God for the things He does for me on a daily basis to live and love life
by working with Him and for Him in my daily life.
Prayer:
God we are often impatient in our prayer requests to you.
Please forgive us for this and help to lead us to believe that God’s
Will, will be done. Amen
