Jesus’ prayer                                                                     March 16, 2010

Verse:  Matthew 6:7-8

⁷And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. ⁸Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles
do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many
words.  Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need
before you ask him.

What needs of the Sjostrand family have been met?  Emma says she is
thankful for the whole world and especially her whole family.  Morgan
says she is thankful for family, friends and her dog Lola.  Steven
says he is thankful for family.  Tiffany is thankful for a safe and
supportive community to live and raise our family.  And Ellie...well
we might guess she is thankful to finally be walking like all of her
friends.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for knowing our needs and meeting
them in your way.  Please bring our community together in your name.
