David’s Prayer                                                              March 2, 2010

2 Samuel 7:28-29

“And now, O Lord God, you are God, and your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant; now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you; for you, O Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.”

I feel blessed because my parents are always supportive. Some ways my parents and family have been supportive are they are always at my events. They help me in my Christian life as well as my everyday life.

My house is blessed because of all of the things that I have like a family and everything in my house. My family is always there for me when I need them and help me if I need them. That is how my house is blessed.

God has blessed our home in many ways such as good health, love, prosperity, hope, and happiness.  These blessings keep our family going even through the most difficult of times. As I look around me, all of those signs shine around in various ways. As the years have progressed, those building blocks have only continued to grow with the days. Thank you, God, for blessing my home and family in so many ways.

Community Prayer:  Dear God, we pray that you bless the whole community in many ways, such as continuing to provide a strong Christian family, support, love, prosperity, hope, good health and happiness.  Like a puzzle, if one part is missing it is then not complete.  But as you continue to add these puzzle pieces, there comes an incredibly beautiful outcome in our community.
