Jesus’ prayer                                                          March 21, 2010

Matthew 6:13

And lead us not into temptation,

  But deliver us from evil.

Temptation: the act of tempting or condition of being tempted. Something attractive, seductive; enticement. Pressure applied to your thinking, designed to create wrong emotions, which eventually lead  to wrong actions. Actions that benefit only ourselves without regards to others.

We ask the Lord to keep us from temptations as we are weak and can be overcome by them. Deliver us from the evils of ourselves, from evil men and the evils of the world, which make us, stray.

Heavenly Father:

Help our community to recognize the temptations of life and give us the strength to do what is right. Make our families strong and positive role models. May we live our life as an example to others. Amen.
